How expensive can this trip get? I'm really considering coming from NYC. But at the same time I don't want to spend too much. Driving seems out of the option. We drove from Southwest Virginia to the Oct show. It was a 12 hour drive. We had to stop about halfway on the border of KY and IN on Thurs. night, then got to Chicago on Friday. Then the ride home Sunday, I drove 12 hrs non-stop. Anyway, driving and paying for 3 nights at hotels, plus other expenses came to around $600-700 for the trip. I also rented a car instead of driving my own. If I didn't rent a car, that would have subtracted about $150.

for those of us who are not coming by car and takeing public transpertation, re flying , amtrack, greyhound, from chicago how do we get to berwyn from chicago? If you're coming in to Union Station and can't find anybody around here to pick you up, you can take Chicago's Metra commuter train out to Berwyn. This only costs a few bucks. For more information, head to www.metrarail.com/ and look up the BNSF line. There is also a rental car desk (I believe Hertz) inside of Union Station if you're inclined to take that route.

SHIMMER - WOMEN ATHLETES returns to live action on Saturday, April 26th at the Berwyn Eages Club (6309 26th Street) in Berwyn, IL, just outside Chicago. Bell time is 4pm. Volumes 17 & 18 of the SHIMMER DVD series will be filmed during the course of the event. This will be the most talent loaded taping in SHIMMER company history. Our last taping featured 24 of the top women athletes in profesional wrestling, and this time around we will feature more performers than ever before! It is our goal to deliver the most complete talent lineup in women's wrestling for this taping, and are pulling out all the stops! Who from SHIMMER's past will make their return to action on Volumes 17 & 18? Who will make their SHIMMER debut on April 26th? These questions will be answered when SHIMMER returns with its biggest taping ever! Since several fans have been known to travel to the Chicago area from other parts of the country to attend our live tapings, we are giving everyone ample notice to mark your calendars and plan ahead. Front row tickets for the Volumes 17 & 18 taping will be available at a cost of $40, and will go on sale online at 7pm Central time on Tuesday, January 1st, 2008. As we have done in the past, tickets will be available via The SHIMMER Forums, as we will accept ticket requests through PM at 7pm Central on January 1st. Please do not contact us prior to then to try to reserve tickets before we put them on sale. We will not be able to do so. If you'd like to get front row tickets, make plans to be online when they go on sale. Keep in mind, for the past several tapings, front row has sold out the same day they were put on sale. Please note that we will only be accepting PayPal ticket orders for front row tickets on January 1st, and payment must be issued that evening in order for us to honor your ticket request. We will not be waiting for mail orders for front row to arrive, due to the demand for them on the day they go on sale. If you don't have a PayPal account, and would like front row tickets, you now have notice to establish one so that you don't get shut out of the opportunity to get tickets. General admission tickets to the taping will be made available at a later date. All we will be putting on sale on January 1st are the 65 front row tickets. Please be advised that we had to turn away about 25 fans who tried to purchase tickets at the door last time, as we had to cut off ticket sales when the venue reached capacity. We will do so once again this time to avoid overcrowding. If you wish to attend the taping on April 26th, get your tickets in advance. Mark your calendars! Saturday, April 26th SHIMMER is back in Berwyn! I assume you'll be selling tickets (if theres any left) during intermission at the AAW show on janruary 19th?

I assume you'll be selling tickets (if theres any left) during intermission at the AAW show on janruary 19th? We opted to put them on sale on the web site to give everyone an equal chance of scoring tickets whether they live in the Chicago area or not. If any front row tickets are still available come 1/19, we'll have them available at the AAW show. We'll also have general admission tickets available at that time.

Yikes I just noticed the price of front row tickets went up again to $40. Getting to be a pretty hefty price. We better be getting some Japanese talent for that

I thinking an additional $650 isn't going to get anyone in from Japan, but who knows, maybe Dave will take that $650 and gamble his way to a larger budget.

The next show is at the end of April? Six months from the last taping? I'm sorry, but that's just depressing. I sincerely hope there are four or more tapings between now and next winter because the girls aren't getting any younger.
