DVD first. It's the format that everyone can play (BluRay is still just a portion of the overall audience at this point), and it's how we've released the entire series up to this point. But we will be doing BluRays of everything eventually, yes. We need to break even on a DVD run of each show first.

I dunno... JUST an opinion but while I completely get that Logan raises expenditures and that this product is completely worth it, the way everything going up in the world except salaries hurts. I personally know 2 that I talk to that, although they want to go to Shimmer, even GA's are out of their league anymore. So, another reason to stick with Berwyn- Cheaper. Still painful but not AS bad. I mention the water once again. Factor in 2 days at Logan vs. Berwyn with, say, 5 bottles of water each day. It comes out to $30 vs. $10. I'm as devoted to Shimmer as anyone can be but I truly fear with my measly disability monthly check I'll be forced out of it soon.

The GA ticket price has not changed in the past six years, despite huge increases in our expenses. Anyone can see our shows live for basically $15 per DVD worth of matches on double taping days. The first and second row reserved ticket packages will be cheaper for November than they were in June.

Trust me, I fully understand the motto of "you get what you pay for" and Shimmer brings talent...just saying my peace and stuff hoping I'm the voice that makes you think "hey, no more Logan", haha. Well wishful thinking...

and this is WHY maybe it's time to TRY to maybe see if a bigger venue is viable. If there are a DECENT # of turnaways and it can be had at the "right price"......

I've always been for Shimmer reaching a bigger audience hence making more money. I'm just not for the sketchiness of the Logan neighborhood and parking situation. I have an issue with walking and I don't recall finding anything close to handicapped parking last time so it's a challenge for me, that's all. I realize I'm in the minority on this one, which is fine, but still wanted to make my sentiments known. Case in point- On the news this second is a story of a man who attacked a woman with a machete in Logan Square.

On the ticket sales on August 7th, will there be ALL available seating on sale for the November shows, or just front row seating? Even if I can't get front row anymore, I just hope to get any available seating and not miss out entirely on the Shimmer events. I can't make the ticket sales at Cigars and Stripes, but already cleared time in November to attend the shows live.

For those who went last time (or locals) how easy is it to get between venues? I'm thinking a hotel near Logan Square is best then I'd only have to travel on the Sunday or does the other way round work better?

Planning to go home to Iowa this fall to get a "lay of the land" with a possible move in the spring but want to make a pit stop to SHIMMER. Any suggestions for a long time fan, first time "customer" (Actually, second time. Went to 53 in Joisey and had a GREAT time)
