I really hope that happens, would be awesome.
Dave just confirmed that there is a minumum of 7 Joshis, but should be a lot more.
So: 1) Tomoka 2) Matsumoto 3) Ohka 4) Ozaki 5) AKINO 6) Kimura
Still hoping for Shida!

Definitely no O'Reilly. She's in England this weekend for IPW:UK. No Nikki Storm either. She's already back in Scotland. Also, aim WAY higher for the joshi total. Ahh What??! No Storm or Rhia??! Those were the main 2 I was coming to see!

I presume that's Kyoko, not Bison, eh? Sadly I won't be there. Sounds like it'll be a great show!
Congrats Tomoka !!! and this is awesome she's doing a few more shows despite being retired (here's hoping for no injuries of course).

Says something that back in the day, the show discussion thread used to have many pages. Twitter and Facebook, especially the SHIMMER FB group, shows that discussion is far more spread out these days.
Good weekend, with much of the focus understandably on Tomoka Nakagawa and her retirement, which was a happy moment as she got to go out with all her friends and lots of drink. I love the Kimber Bombs as the new tag champs, though the division is a bit thin considering the best other team in it is Team Slap Happy, and KBs already beat them. October should really prioritise beefing up the division. Nicole Matthews is doing well as a champion who'll do whatever to keep hold of the title, though those who thought Eagles was a controversy, it was more unfortunate, and good ring placement by Matthews to know where the ropes were. Again, don't know who'll step up to face her next? Maybe a three way with Eagles and Havok?
The eight Joshi tag (and yes I'll class Tank as honorary Joshi) was goddamn FANTASTIC. If I wasn't there, I'd be peeved I'd have to wait so long to see it. Aja Kong was Aja Kong (no more really needs to be said), and Dynamite Kansai was friggin' STIFF. Nicole Savoy is getting even better, I love Evie and Heidi Lovelace as a team, and Courtney Rush as a heel will take some getting used to.
Special mention to a couple other great matches - the 2/3 Falls Athena/Mia Yim match, and Eagles/Ohka.

Some of my favorite things this past Shimmer weekend
The 8-woman tag was blind-blowing on so many levels. I'm really looking forward to having it on DVD to be able to take it all in. I feel that way about much of this past weekend.
AKINO - my lord, is she great. I was amazed when I did some more web-searching on her after the weekend, to read that she's 41 years old, given that she has Kay Lee Ray-level energy. Everything AKINO did in the ring I loved - and her matches with Tomoka and Melissa were brilliant.
Nicole Savoy, man - talk about taking the ball and running with it. She delivered on every opportunity she was given.
Team Slapp Happy - I really like Heidi and Evie together - that's a duo that can run for a while, if one of them doesn't get signed first.
Kay Lee Ray - she is so freaking good!
Tessa Blanchard - I love that 3rd Generation Hussy (if you weren't there, you'll know what I'm talking about when you see the DVD)
Athena - her every moment from when she comes out from backstage is magic
