Be sure to also subscribe to the Squared Spandex podcast in iTunes. At last night's Squared Circle gathering, a new episode was recorded which included myself, Lisa Marie Varon, PJ Drummond, Kevin Harvey, and Trik Davis at various points in the show. I revealed one of this month's Sparkle competitors in the process. Keep your eyes peeled to iTunes for the new episode soon. t.co/4ywkUvCJl8

The final show leading into SHIMMER’s fall DVD tapings has Kevin joined by someone who wasn’t just dominant in SHIMMER, but also perhaps the most dominant WWE Diva and TNA Knockout of all time. Kevin walks down memory with his friend Kia who has been known as AMAZING KONG on the independents, AWESOME KONG in TNA and KHARMA in WWE! They share different lessons and laughs from a storied career of one of history’s top female performers. They discuss in detail the importance of mutual friend and mentor, the late Ed Chuman. Other topics include her memories and the importance in her career of SHIMMER, an early indy match with WWE’s Seth Rollins of The Shield, and how she remained a compelling, dominant character who (for most intents and purposes) never spoke a word. No shortage of audio today... along with Kong on School's In, also now up for download is my WrestleView interview recorded on Friday afternoon. It's about 90 minutes long, and I'm in a zombie-like state due to lack of sleep. We talk SHIMMER, AAW, CHIKARA, Girls Night Out, SHINE, The Squared Circle, and a bunch more. www.sendspace.com/file/2qsufq

I don't usually shill the Ringbelles "Fight Like A Girl" audio shows on here (you can catch them on the website and/or the iTunes & Stitcher Radio feeds), but this one deserves special mention, I feel. It features Angelus Layne, talking about her Post Concussion Syndrome that has caused her to cancel all her dates for the rest of the year. I contacted her earlier in the week to see how she felt about sharing the story of her injury and recovery... and she jumped for it. Before I knew it, I had over an hour of some graphic, shocking and not a little worrying details about concussions, seizures, blackouts and the wrestler's mentality about injuries. This is one you really should try to listen to, even if you're not particularly well acquainted with the guest. You'll learn stuff here. ringbellesonline.com/2013/10/13/fight-like-a-girl-angelus-layne-on-post-concussion-syndrome/

Kevin Harvey is on Fan To Fan with Kevin Ford, where he talks SHIMMER amongst other topics.
Later today, the Ringbelles lads have Kimber Lee on the Women of Wrestling podcast.

As everyone begins their journeys home from another fantastic SHIMMER weekend, fill some of that time with even more audio from School's In: The Official Podcast of The School of Everything Else. School's In: Episode 16 - Joey Eastman Sometimes, people in wrestling just click with one another. Such is the case with Kevin and this week’s guest, the incomparable JOEY EASTMAN. They have a lot of common ground and discuss a great deal of that. Delve into the glorious oddity of Totally Tool Wrestling. Hear stories of lessons taught by mentors like Ed Chuman and The Iron Sheik. Learn the valid business reasons the bizarre feud between Green Man and Red Man came to be. But most of all, simply learn from this episode. There is a lot to take away from the stories of Joey, a man Kevin considers a master of many roles falling under the banner of “Everything Else.” iTunes Subscription: itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/id677496311iTunes Individual Episode: itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/schools-in-episode-16-joey/id677496311?i=169335240&mt=2Direct Stream and Download: pwponderings.com/SEEwrestling/2013/10/schools-in-episode-16-joey-eastman/Also available on Stitcher radio for streaming.

Last night, 15 minutes after I walked in the door from my return trip home, I talked with Des Delgadillo about women's wrestling but primarily SHIMMER Women - how it renewed my love for wrestling overall, the past weekend's tapings, and several women who stepped up and stood out. I had a blast talking to Des, so for anyone who cares to listen you can find it here. Feedback is appreciated! thingsdessays.net/2013/10/21/an-education-on-womens-wrestling-with-jen-pocketvolcano/

School's In: Episode 17 - SHIMMER MEGACAST... Nearly 90 minutes of laughs, lessons and total ridiculousness! After taping SHIMMER Volumes 58 through 61 last weekend, many of the performers and crew needed to kick back and have some fun! You will hear from many people who make SHIMMER possible as well as a few cameos from representatives of different media outlets who certainly show their support throughout the year. Even with all the laughter along the way, there are still a few lessons to take away from quite possibly the most eclectic podcast guest list in history. Guests appear in groups in the following order: NCW Femmes Fatales’ Stephane Bruyere Mary Lee Rose Stew Allen from ringbellesonline.com Nikki Storm “Sweet” Saraya Knight “The Anarchist” Arik Cannon SHIMMER Cameraman/Editor David Puente Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s Dan Murphy “The Super Hardcore Anime” LuFisto SHIMMER Tag Team Champion “The Rate Tank” Kellie Skater Hikaru Shida AAW and SHIMMER Backstage Support Pat Creed S-Ovation Promoter and Joshi Talent Coordinator Hachiro Suzuki “Lady Destroyer” Hiroyo Matsumoto iTunes: itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/id677496311Direct Stream/Download: pwponderings.com/SEEwrestling/2013/10/schools-in-episode-17-shimmer-megacast/Also available for streaming on Stitcher radio.
