Even though we did not make it, I don't envy Dave/Danger and whoever's else job in March/April from what I have seen. If everyone that deserves to be there is invited, he might have 100 in the locker room. Can't wait for the DVD's.

Before SHIMMER I hadn't seen Nikki Storm in three years, and the matches I had seen her in were so long ago that I didn't remember them at all - which meant that going into SHIMMER she was essentially a completely new wrestler to me. Have to say I was very impressed. It was funny, whether it was due to her body language or her demeanour or whatever, she instantly reminded me of Jetta (which, if you know me, is a pretty major compliment). Enjoyed her matches tremendously all weekend and I’d be more than happy to see her return.

I'm torn between who kept making the best faces: Nikki or Cherry Bomb.

Nikki was sensational - another performer that is an absolute Joy Factory just by stepping in the ring and opening her mouth. I thought Shine blew it by not giving her a mic this past show. All her matches were quite good too.
And Cherry Bomb does so much with her little in-ring comments - she's a really smart performer, makes her opponents more powerful just by acting afraid of them.

I'm torn between who kept making the best faces: Nikki or Cherry Bomb. The correct answer is Kimber Lee.

Still getting caught up on the latest results and such (haven't ordered a volume since 46!). So I have to ask which 3-4 would be the best from 47-57? Looking to pick some up soon.

56 has to be in there somewhere as well. The last four matches were all phenomenal as was Skater/Matthews and the Leva/Natural match was just flat out fun.

55 for the Courtney/Melissa dance-off. (How Melissa managed to keep a straight face I'll never know.)

51 for the Saraya vs. Chif vs. Hiroyo vs. Skater in the Four Corners Elimination match for the title is well worth a serious look; in fact it got my vote for 2012 MOTY on here.

Looking at the photo thread for these volumes reminds me of something I was wondering about. Where were the blackout curtains that had been against the walls/windows the last few tapings?

They're rented. Sad to say, but something like that (where the shows happen with or without them) is one of the first expenses to cut when the advance ticket sales are lower than they needed to be.

^ Speaking of advanced ticket sales. Any word on when Tickets for the spring tapings will be available? I realize the last shows just happened and there haven't been any dates announced, but I'm just curious if we can still expect the tickets to open up in January like last year?
