I heard that despite the official end date, that you can still play this game online and download community creations (including custom vids, a feature WWE 2k14 doesn't have). Is that so? Specifically I'm asking about the Xbox 360 version...
Anybody confirm if it's still online and for how long?

Not sure when they will be going down but it was said to be some time late last year. It may go down around the release of 2k16.

BTW, not sure if any of you have seen this yet but I thought I'd share it here(Don't know why I've havent already) but. Seems like the best place to do so. Its a tribute I made to Women's Wrestling using all the creations I've made in 2K14. Most of them From Shimmer,Shine,WSU,etc. www.youtube.com/watch?v=rfkgXsjcB4g

Your creations are quite excellent. I did what I could do promote them in my two month stint playing 2k14 online (Thunderskull is the other great creator of joshi content). You both deserve enormous kudos for that! Sadly, I did get this distressing bit of news: support.2k.com/hc/en-us/articles/204375273-WWE-13-Server-ShutdownThe official WWE13 page says status is "good" but it also says it wasn't updated since June 2013. So how exactly were you able to get on, if they're officially "shut down" as of last December? Are people running pirate servers? Could you actually play in a game, or download anything? I'd love to get WWE13, but if the Creative Commons is going to be unavailable it seems a bit pointless, unless that stuff can be downloaded elsewhere... seems like a waste otherwise. Just to let you know, I was specifically asking about WWE 13 on the Xbox 360. I realize WWE 12 is offline for good. WWE2k14 is supposed to be online until October 2015. I thought maybe they got a reprieve because WWE13 wasn't 2K's creation and they might have been changing the rules. This sucks though... players should just be allowed to host their own servers. They're already paying for Xbox Live Gold anyway and it's not like WWE is hurt by the free promotion...

There aren't many matches being played but I could still download creations from CC.

I still have 12 for the XBOX because you can hack the hell out of it: Renders, Titantrons, gender swap (for intergender matches and all-women's Royal Rumbles), etc. Unfortunately I suck at character creation. Mrblacksheep, is there a way you can explain step by step how you made your creations? I've seen your videos and I can't seem to get it (especially with clothing).

You can still do all that in WWE2k14 except for the custom 'Trons (sadly). On his channel he's posted formula videos I believe.
MrBlackSheep, thanks for checking on WWE13. The only reason I'd get the game would be for the additional content...
But anyway, I see that there's no "Alissa Flash" CAW up on community creations for WWE2k14 anymore on Xbox.
That's right, the one that's posted is just the generic create-a-diva template. The one I had before was perfect, but it got erased when my memory card crashed (it now says it's "unformated" which is bad). Any chance of a re-upload?
It's really too bad, I even added a Raisha Saeed alternate attire to it (though it was really easy to make).

Glad to see Alissa Flash CAW is back! So it sounds like WWE 13 is officially retired, but "under the radar" it works sometimes? I would really love it if this created content was somehow made available "offline" (like to download through the PC and use something like horizon to use it on your console). I remember putting hundreds of caws on disc for FireProReturns & FireProD (which I'm glad I did because a lot of those caw sites have disappeared or forums no longer allow new registrations, sadly).

I'm so sorry i didn't respond to this. But to answer your question, It depends. As far as caw faces and bodies go, I put the game and the best pic of who I'm trying to create side by side. I pick the best template for them and mess around with the details and shaping. As far as the clothing goes, In WWE'13 I had to do everything by hand and it was a task for sure. In 2k14, I did half the logos in game and the others I did in Photoshop and imported into the game. I combined certain logos together or altered other logos to create the ones I need. Anything that worked. Also you and the others who take those great photos help me out alot when it comes to references.

There are many tutorials out on how to inject caws into the game. I made one myself and a photo tutorial. I've made other tuts also. smacktalks.org/forums/topic/48040-tutorials-caw-injectiongender-mod-renders/Created Wrestlers. I have to add my updated ones to the thread. smacktalks.org/forums/topic/49523-caw-vault-cas-files-by-dbo2700-almost-700-caws-posted/

Cool, I'll have to check those out! Mind you, I don't have "jtag" or anything like that.
I have a theory. See, when I got WWE2k14 used, I was forced to purchase an "online pass" to be able to access community creations and online play (with a live gold subscription of course). It may be that they are no longer selling the online passes (and probably not DLC either), but people who have ALREADY purchased it (meaning if you have a code in a sealed new copy of the game) it may still be supported.
That's my theory anyway. So I might consider getting the game if I knew I could use all that stuff. But still, having a backup plan is nice. It's a real shame to let all of that creativity go to waste especially after the game has only been out 3 years. The main draw of these games for me has always been the created content. But I am curious about the single player mode and the ability to do custom entrance videos sounds nice.
Edit: ah, I see there's a mandatory "donation" for the program needed to do the injecting (13$). Good to know...
Hmmm... so I might be out of luck there.
