Dave just said on commentary it's 700+ in house, including walk-up sales.
Also, flog me if I missed the mention of it... but Ayumi's not going to be in Berwyn next week?
edit never mind, found the thread and answered my own question

Shows you're in the Tri-State Area during a major event weekend and you got a quality product...BIG WIN. although I agree, don't milk this too many times. This is once in a lifetime, unlike another Match on the big show that is why everybody's in town!

Announced attendance of 78,000 maybe have been slightly exaggerated.

^ Haha!
Sounds like a fantastic show! Melissa wins! I had a feeling it may happen, but I reckon she's keeping the belt warm for our Rockstar Hussy Buster. Havok in Shimmer AT LAST! Wasn't she meant to be injured though? Or just maybe couldn't work one-on-one?
Athena pinning Ayako is huge, must make her number one contender, though Melissa better watch out as Saraya will want her rematch AND Madison will want her rematch too, not to mention Mercedes is on another run at the moment!
The next 4 tapings are sure as hell gonna keep us guessing!

For the first time, thanks to the ippv, I can come into one of these threads and not worry about spoilers ;D
I'm still slightly stunned that Havok showed up and was involved in a match, that was one of hell of a surprise. And while the whole event was pretty epic, three matches stood out for me; Mercedes versus Ayumi, Eagles against McKay, and Athena versus Hamada.
Both title matches were thoroughly enjoyable (hope Fisto isn't injured too badly). I'm thrilled the Ninjas retained their belts, and although the main event was a bit on the short side, Melissa winning was the perfect finish for me.

Still sitting here trying to let it sink in how amazing a show it was. From J-Hav's shock debut, to all three returns being great, to LuFisto's moonsault, to Hamada/Athena, to the main event and the title change... and of course the Canadian Ninjas paying tribute to the New Age Outlaws.
ALL AMAZING.
Cannot wait for next weekend.

Well, the moonsault missed, but how LuFisto recovered from it astounded me.

I just got back from the show, and it was great to go to a live Shimmer again after a 2yr absence from Chicago. Unfortunately we were late getting there because of a major backup on I95 and I missed a few matches....particularly Mercedes and Ayumi . But when we walked in the arena the 6 woman tag was starting and I had to do a double take when I saw what looked like(and was) Jessica Havok on the apron! Couldn't believe it. I really hope she continues to show up in the future, I'd love to see her potential feuds.(Serena might be wanting a bit of payback!) I can't say enough how much I enjoyed the show, Melissa winning the title back was awesome, Lufisto is just always incredible, I do hope she'll be okay(someone carried her out to the merchandise table to still interact with the fans). Athena continues to impress as she climbs her way to the top, she will get there sooner than later. It was a great showing from everyone and I thoroughly enjoyed it. For anyone that was there live, there was something going on after Melissa's match when Saraya was leaving the cage. I wasn't close enough to see but did Saraya hit a fan? I just saw her getting dragged away from ringside by some guys and she looked like she was trying to get at someone, but I was just wondering what happened.

Top to bottom it was amazing. All the women had a ton of energy, focus and their A game on. They knew they had a chance to turn the stereotype on its head and they did just that. The section I sat in I heard nothing condescending or inappropriate. Indeeb, heard a lot of respectful praise. There was a vibe throughout the crowd the whole show, might not have come across that way on ippv but trust me it was wonderful.
I was literally five footsteps from where LuFi landed. I knew she was going to miss so I covered my eyes and heard the impact. She didn't move for so long I started crying. Sincerely thought she was dead and the other women looked scared and panicked. They didn't get back into the match until she started moving...and when she got back into the ring and Burning Hammered Taylor no one could believe it. It was unreal. Kana looked so worried, bless her heart.
Aside from that, it was a magical show. I'm proud of these women and proud to be a fan of hard working, dedicated, professional athletes. They changed a lot of minds today no doubt about it.

My best friend Chad chose this show as his bachelor party event... and he was very pleased. It seemed as if the ring was set up a bit sloppy...but the wrestlers did a great job regardless. Lufisto and Leva...you both made my heart stop for a moment and I hope you're feeling well. Portia, you made my day (mounties have height requirements!) and I hope you enjoyed your meal. Athena, you're still my favorite, but Hamada still has me in awe. Wonderful Show!!!

Watching the show on iPPV, the main event did feel a touch underwhelming. But perhaps my expectations were a little too high after all the build up, and having recently seen Saraya retain the title in that epic bloody battle with Destiny at Bellatrix. It also didn't help that the cage actually made it difficult to see much of the action properly, particularly from the hard camera angle.
The rest of the card was awesome. Would have preferred to see Ayumi win and not have Rhia lose the 5 way, but that's just personal preference. And I suspect I was one of the few people more hyped by the return of Nevaeh to a Shimmer ring than the debut of Havok.
Match of the night has to go to Jessie/Madison.

Thank you Dave Prazak for an above outstanding show. And for agreeing to have it streamed over WWNLive.com so I could experience SHIMMER live for the first time in my life. I'm still processing all that went down yesterday, and what it will mean for the future of this great promotion, only great things I expect. For better or worse Jessicka Havok is now part of SHIMMER, and I thank all the powers that be for her arrival as well as Evie's. I hope LuFisto is doing well after that hard fall, and I'll for sure miss Ayumi.
All the girls hit a home run out of the park yesterday...
