Vol. 45 was pretty dang good. I really liked the way the DVD opened, and the structure has improved dramatically since the last volumes. The best match IMO was Athena V.S. Mercedes, although Sara Del Rey v.s. Leon wasn't far behind.
I thought the main event was a little disappointing, and it seemed like the crowd wasn't as energetic as usual.
Overall it's definitely not the best SHIMMER volume I've seen, but it's still very good and worth the moolah.

So am watching Volume 45 right now and realise I was, ahem, 'called out' by Saraya Knight for some comments I **allegedly** have made about her. I am SO glad I was thousands of miles away back in England at the time else I may have had a little accident in my underwear.
I just want to clarify though..... Mrs Knight.... Saraya.... m'am.... I would never DREAM of saying anything derogatory about you in any way shape or form. You only live a couple of hours drive away from me and I value my life.

Athena/Mercedes was every bit as awesome on DVD as it was live, surprised me watching back just how much of the match was contested outside the ring. LuKana/Oncoming Hatred was also great on DVD, though it stunned me that they only went 10 minutes, but they packed a heck of a lot into those ten minutes. Leon/Del Rey was the match that I really appreciated a lot second time around, having a match like that third on the card kinda takes me by surprise, as I'm just getting warmed up, so that was certainly a jump start. Ray/Skater was for me the start of the Rise of the Rate Tank as we know it right now, an excellent introduction to Ray as well.
As for the main event, I was underwhelmed watching it live, and sad to say I'm still kinda underwhelmed with it on tape. Melissa and Nicole are both amazing, but they just didn't really click here. If anything, their Volume 27 match was far better. Still better than the Melissa/Portia match from 46, though.

I just rewatched the Skater/Ray match and that's a whole lot of fun! The cartwheel powerbomb looks incredible! Really good match and as was said earlier the first stage in the rise of the Rate Tank!

Live moment sadly missing from DVD: Lufisto (after delivering bronco buster to the New York Knockout): I just want to say, I had a shower today... I'm very clean! *quickly sniffs armpit* *makes stinky face while fanning nose*Was the bronco buster on the dvd?

Believe so, but it cut away right after so you missed the line. At the live experience there are typically all kinds of wise cracks and retorts from the wrestlers, audience members (and Joey).
