I don't mean to sound rude, but what do people who buy wrestlers' gear do with them? I always find it a bit creepy to buy wrestlers' gear, male or female, so I'm just curious.

Really, it's only creepy depending on a the buyer's intention. If someone just wants it as a keepsake/to support the wrestler/generally appreciate the awesomeness, it's not any more creepy than buying a shirt, DVD, or 8X10.

If I ever bought someone's gear, I'd have it framed, along with a picture of the wrestler in that gear.

I like to think they frame it, autographed jersey style. Depends on the individual though. I hope they frame it. They should frame it.

Ok, the new shirts are out of the wash, so now I can post. Weekend's promo poster, new Del Rey poster, new MsChif, LuFisto, and Athena shirts, NCW-FF 5, 6, and 7, and a couple of MsChif's new trading cards, one signed, one not. Courtney Rush, Athena, Kellie Skater, Kana, Kalamity, Nicole Matthews, Cat Power, Mia Yim, and Rhia O'Reilly 8x10s. Didn't have as much money as I would've liked to going into the weekend, or else I would've had more shirts and 8x10s, at least.

The only other gear I ever bought was at my first SHIMMER show in Sept 2010. It was Cat Power's and she autographed it. It was a pure impulse buy. When I got home I thought what the heck am I gonna do with it? It's actually on a shelf in my closet with other SHIM momentos from that first trip (I have nowhere to put it if I framed it right now). I bought this one of Lufi's as a show of support. She's an inspiration to me for several reasons and I figured the best way to show support was financially since I'm not good creatively. The outfit is with Cat's (and considering she is now retired I'm glad I had that impulse). The outfit actually fits so maybe I'll dress as Lufi for Halloween. No creepiness here, just someone who has always been a collector of unusual items. ^.^

Does anyone know if Hamada sells her shirts online? I'm going to second that, somehow I totally missed those... sweet! To the folks with the bigger hauls, did you buy those all in one go, or did you get half on each day? Be honest.

Half each day., it's the only reasonable way to do it. I could have tried to cram more in each day, but I need ed food, and I never leave my seating area during the actual show.

I got the bulk on the first day. The gear, the DVDs from Highspots, SHIMMER and Lufi. Plus a shirt I think. I got a few shirts and most of the 8x10's the second day. I wanted to get it all in one go but my bag was full to the brim.

You know G-reg, we both love your avatar, and we know where it comes from, but from there, it kind of looks like Sweet Saraya has on a ninja mask, making her visage reminiscent of Raisha Saeed. Or like she belongs in one of those "see if you can spot the scary face in this otherwise innocuous photo" puzzles that get passed around on facebook.

"I don't mean to sound rude, but what do people who buy wrestlers' gear do with them? I always find it a bit creepy to buy wrestlers' gear, male or female, so I'm just curious." Hey, if you buy something, it's yours to do what you please with, I say. If I pay good money for a wrestler's gear and then I want to wear it to the mall or go out in the yard and moonsault my dog that's my prerogative. Maybe I want to dress up a mannequin in wrestling gear and put her in the passenger seat so I can use the car pool lane! Who are you all to judge!!! -Socially Awkward

It still makes you a weirdo! I'm sorry I have to post this now. Said with as much love to my fellow Shimmer fans as possible.
