So when is a good guess for vol 45-48 DVDs to come out. I'm thinking around January 2013. Vol 44 took like 7 months to come out. I end up not buying some volumes cause it took to long and lost interest. Right now I'm interest in vol 45 -48 by the time they get release maybe next year I may end up buying 1 or 2 of the 4. Cause not relevant anymore like volume 44 cheerleader Melissa winning the belt is just for historical footage. Because good matches cease to be good matches if they happened more than a few weeks ago.

I'd imagine if everything goes smoothly and there's no technical difficulties in production, we could see 45 at some point in May or June.

Funny that - Dave just tweeted that 45 goes on pre-order from next week.

Little problem of her living on the other side of the world. Teleportation would solve this. Get on it. I've been attempting to perfect a teleportation/phasing device that will allow me to not only eliminate the cost of gas for my trips to the Chicagoland area for Shimmer, but also aid me during intermission by either materializing right in front of the wrestler whom I wish to buy merch from or alternately being able to make myself intangible and just walk right through people to get to the merch tables. Sadly, I'm more of an idea man than a practical builder. I'd need someone with engineering expertise to actually construct the thing.

Greatly enjoyed this set. Not sure about the backstage segment with MsChif and RegenX, but I guess silly is more the word I'm looking for (Chif the dog??). Nobody said things always have to be serious, and at least it was something different.
Volume 44 was a lot of fun to watch (sadly I missed it live), but it really shown with the last three matches, from LuFisto's dream match with Kana, to the Tag Team matchup between the Ninjas and champs Kurihara & Hamada, to the title match between Eagles and Melissa. (Really miss Madison!)
The Knight Drama was a sight to behold ("USA, USA!" Also, kudos to John Cena.)

And so it came to pass that because of this encounter, the seeds were sown for what is arguably the greatest angle in Shimmer history.

Here's what I thought of the show Rate Tank vs Davina Rose: very good opener, I like Kelly's agressive style and submissions, Davina as Dave pointed out , has potential. 6/10
Taylor Made vs Veda Scott : Scott has character, Made has a lot of passion I can see it in her eyes, some good technical wrestling from Veda, I loved the tornado ddt followed by a ddt from Veda, great spot! I didn't like the ending tough,it was a neckbreaker out of nowhere, I didn't expect the match to end like that, it should have been built up a little more, just when I was really getting into it it ended, i'll say 6.5/10
Kalamity vs Nakagawa : I LOLed at Nakagawa booing the fans back ,good back and forth match, Nakagawa has character, I was surprised to see Kalamity pull off win , Nakagawa dominated most of the match, 7/10
Ashley Lane and Mia Yim vs Nevaeh and Sassy Stephi : It was so refreshing to see Lane as a face again, I liked the match, I expected more from the Neveah vs Lane confrontation, still not bad, Mia has a bright future, 6.5/10
Yumi Ohka vs Serena Deeb : first I love Yumi's attire! And that was a great match, it had some decent technical wrestling, good brawls, some nasty kicks by Yumi, a few spots, near falls, submissions.. 7.75/10
Allison Danger, Christina Von Eerie, Leva Bates and MsChif vs Bonesaw, She Nay Nay, Melanie Cruise and Mena Libra : very entertaining match, wow it was a 4 on 4 match DONE RIGHT! I really liked it, 7.5/10
Jessie McKay vs Hiroyo Matsumoto : I love both these women , and I loved that match , 7.75/10
Sara Del Rey vs Courtney Rush : first, HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAH . then, great work on the match by Sara, Rush did a little comeback but it was mostly Del Rey, still a very good match. 7.25/10
Athena vs Mercedes Martinez : that match served to progress the feud between these two, it was a solid match with good wrestling but too short for these two, 6.5/10
Lufisto vs Kana : Best match so far, as you'd expect from these two , brutal submissions and brutal striking. 8/10 note : it amazes me that Lufisto can still go with all her Heart and Back problemes.
Saraya vs Britney : awesome brutal match, great showing by Britney, there's a couple of missed spots, but they don't take away anything from the match. 8/10
Canadian Ninjas vs Ayako and Ayumi : WOW! freaking awesome ! a great great tag team match ! 8.75/10
Melissa vs Madison : well that was one of the best matches to end of the best feuds in SHIMMER history, the story was perfect, the ending was awesome, the match was flawless, great build up the climax ending, just perfect. The taunting by Madison at the beginning was so annoying, the brawl was done perfectly, and the spots like that German suplex from the top were awesome, and I loved the kick-out of the Air Raid Crashes. Fantastic. 9.75/10

Yay Ashley Lane finnally gets her spine! Well that's kinda mean to say... after all, she only plays an opportunistic coward on TV. Only just saw this lol. I wasn't being sarcastic, I was happy Lane got the spine at last, I was worried she wouldn't get one like poor Amber and i'm bit OCD and it felt odd Nevaeh had one but not Ashley.

Watching again on DVD, it's the best run of four matches to end a show in SHIMMER history. Volume 50 came very close to matching it.
Kana and LuFisto put on a hell of a contest that actually got better for me on second viewing, as it kinda flew by for me live. Britani and Saraya was as brutal and awesome as I remembered it being. The tag title match was real good, and you did think on occasions that the Ninjas would win the titles back here. And as for the main event, what else could be said? The pop Melissa got for winning the title, followed by the immediate crowd shift when Nicole attacked her from behind. Nothing better in wrestling.
