I am a HUGE Madison fan. I would love her to stay champion. But if her injury is really bad, this may be a good way to let her drop the title to a well deserving competitor without having to take a lot of punishment like she would in a singles match. Then hopefully she can get completely heeled and back on her A game.

Could this match be added to a future shimmer volume, as a bonus?

It's a reason to buy the PWWA DVD.

I havent seen any PWWA shows at all so it'll be interesting to see Jessie Mckay as a Heel Jessie turned babyface in PWA recently. I imagine that will be carried over into PWWA.

Then hopefully she can get completely heeled and back on her A game. She may not drop the title at all, if her mending time table puts her at close enough to full strength to work a normal match by the October tapings. I mean, she could let the Jessie and Nicole do all the damage to each other and then, being ever the opportunist, swoop in like an eagle, pun intended, and retain her title. Let us not forget that she did win the belt from Chif while suffering from a busted ear drum, which not only hurts like hell but can also throw off your equilibrium to boot. Basically anything is possible, and I think it would be interesting if the title did change hands outside of the Eagles Club, since that is a scenario that has yet to happen.

With everyone knowing it's going to be Madison or Nicole coming back to the States with the title, book it right now...Everybody's Favorite Girlfriend...Everybody's Favorite Shimmer Champion...Jessie McKay.

No. World Titles should be defended in multiple countries on at least a semi-regular basis. SHIMMER Championship. I was at the show in London where Samoa Joe turned the ROH Title into the ROH World Title, and the ROH belt isn't regularly defended in multiple countries... Joe also defended it in Germany shortly after that too. Also jealous you were there, I wasn't into wrestling and thus didn't find out about ROH until after they stopped touring here.

My ideal scenario is Nicole winning the title by pinning Jessie - she'd then have three potential feuds on the go - Madison, who'll demand a rematch as she wasn't pinned, Jessie to finish their feud off, and a potential feud with a super jealous Portia.

Just so you all know, Eagles attacked McKay on her return to PWA today, taking her out with the Hellbound.
So now it's heels Eagles and Matthews against babyface McKay on September 3...

She may not drop the title at all... Even if Madison Eagles is unable to wrestle main event level matches in October, the title shouldn't be dropped. Everybody knows that she's injured, so if she stays outside, lets Nicole and Jessie do the work and then just loses, it's looking like a cheap angle to avoid vacancy. (If she stays outside, lets Nicole and Jessie do the work and then wins, it's a different story.) If Madison is still injured in October (more than 5 months after the accident), the title should be vacated to crown a new champ in an 8-women tournament.

I'm amused by all the doubting of our Champ going on in this thread. Jessie's a pushover who both Nicole and Madison have destroyed on numerous occassions. So that leaves Nicole as the only real threat. But Nicole has a weakness in that she can get cocky. And that's a dangerous thing to do around Eagles because she will swoop in and make her pay for having any sort of self-esteem.
My prediction: Eagles wins easy (and she'll be all healed by then too just to make it even more likely)

Come on guys, you have to stay positive. If this match was booked it's because Madison Eagles will be cleared at that time to wrestle and the Triple Threat could be used as an excuse to not have Madison work the whole match because she's been injured but I doubt that she would have been booked in a match despite being injured so....
