I hope Blue Nikita gets a shot at the Ice Ribbon stars at some point during the weekend. Blue Nikita vs Emi Sakura has awesome written all over it.

The card so far is looking ridiculously good, and that's even before the mystery of Sunday's matches.
Anyone know if they've an after-party type shindig planned like last time? Or if not, can anyone recommend any decent rock/indie music nightclubs in the area?

So jealous of everyone going to this. If only it was next weekend, I'd be able to go.

Results from Show 1, thanks to Ringbelles...
*Shanna pinned Kay Lee Ray with a top rope crossbody. *Jetta pulled the Jenny Sjodin/April Davids match, only for Rhia O'Reilly to challenge Sjodin for the EVE championship, which Jetta refused, but Jenny chose to accept. *Jenny Sjodin made Rhia O'Reilly tap out to a cross armbreaker to retain the EVE Championship. *Rhia O'Reilly pinned Super Janey B by reversing a victory roll. *Viper beat Kirsty Love with an electric chair into a faceplant. *Em Jay pinned Sara Marie Taylor following a Bombs Away. *Nikki Storm beat Tsukasa Fujimoto with the Perfect Storm. *Alpha Female beat Hikaru Shida with a bridging back suplex. *Emi Sakura and Hikari Minami beat Erin Angel and Shanna when Minami pinned Angel with a bridging fallaway slam. Afterwards, Shanna challenged Minami for the ICEx60 Championship, which will take place tomorrow. *Jenny Sjodin retained the EVE Championship by making April Davids tap out to her cross armbreaker. Looks like Jetta’s word isn’t as strong as the Northern Shooters’ desire for competition.

As an extra note, April Davids may have broken her ankle after suffering a superplex and exacerbating it with a top rope dive to the outside. She's getting it checked out this morning.

Most definitely a solid weekend of shows with most of the matches ranging from very good to superb. For me, there wasn't a really, in-your-face, stand out match from the weekend, but I think that was more down to the booking than the matches themselves.
Best of the matches for me were basically any that Nikki or Shanna were involved in. Of the huge roster(s!) of talent on display over the 3 shows, they were the two that really stood out for me, Shanna in-particular. Everyone else bought their A-game too, very much including Eve's potentials/instant new recruits, Viper and Kirsty Love who were both especially impressive.
As has been the case on previous Eve shows, the only real problem for me was some of the booking. In fairness to Dann, it's probably a bit difficult bringing 4 visiting wrestlers onto an established roster for an us-vs-them shows, whilst still maintaining any current feuds and face/heel statuses. Stati? And the late withdrawal of Carmel and the unfortunate injury to April after the first show obviously meant a few things had to be changed at short notice.
But even taking that into account, there was still a sense of 'randomness' for a fair few of the matches over the weekend. With a roster that's already heel heavy, Rhia's turn prior to the event seemed a little out of the blue. And when she came in to challenge Jenny on the first show, my first thought was "So why turn her heel in the first place?" And her turn didn't really lead to much else, in terms of the rest of the weekend. Other than a win over SJB, it was business as usual for Rhia - Indeed, many of the results were on the predictable side, it would have been cool to see a few unexpected wins/losses.
On the plus side, at least Rhia did maintain her heel status for the entire weekend, which wasn't the case for everyone. Again, it was partly down to the Eve-vs-Ice effect, but there seemed like a certain amount of 'flexibility' going on with who was heel or face in certain matches.
Hopefully at the next set of shows, Eve can try and reestablish where everyone is right now on the roster. Is Jenny actually heel? Personally, I'd turn her face - She's over enough already and doesn't really carry off a convincing heel persona. Despite April's semi-babyface role in her title match, she seems a much better fit as a heel.
And is there really any point sticking with this European Empire thing any more? It had no impact over the weekend anyway - We got a promo from Jetta at the start of the show about how Jenny and April wouldn't be fighting each other for the title.... And then they did. I guess this might have been going to be dealt with on Sunday, before April's injury.
After a quick title change since the last set of shows and the 'stand-alone' nature of this event, I'd just like to see Eve get back to setting up some proper feuds and storylines. And Erin and Rhia really need to be further up the card too. And a Shanna turn probably wouldn't hurt either.
Speaking of the next shows, did Dann actually mention when and where? I remember him saying he was going to announce 'em, but I don't know if he actually did?
