Today, one year ago, after a bad night of sleep, I was on my way to the airport to pick up who was, at that time, the NWA women champion and SHIMMER champion, MsChif. A few hours after that, we were there... the first Femmes Fatales show!
We need to get back a few months before that date... In March of 2009, it was clear in my head that I won't be doing anything more for a Quebec wrestling indy federation. With the end of the ALF, that was a good timing... Only 2 weeks after that, I received a phone call from LuFisto telling me that the nCw wanted to meet us for a project... After some moment, I remembered telling to LuFisto... that project must be good or else...
After our first meeting with TNT, one of nCw CA member, I knew it was serious. I knew we won't be working for nothing and I decided to enter that project. I can now say without a doubt that this was one of my best decisions in wrestling since I started in 2000. Not only Femmes Fatales became an important part of nCw, but it was also necessary for the future of women's wrestling in Quebec.
Femmes Fatales goals are simple : giving better visibility to Quebec women wrestlers, and Quebec wrestling at the same time, and offering a good product. After only 3 shows, I think that we reached those goals. Our Quebec wrestlers continue to improve and have the chance to be in the same dressing room than some of the best wrestlers around the world. In the first year, wrestlers like Cheerleader Melissa, Sara Del Rey, Mercedes Martinez, Nicole Matthews, Daffney and more already came to Montreal... and it's only a start!
Lots of good things happen during the first year of Femmes Fatales : FF first main event, LuFisto against Cheerleader Melissa, was name the match of the year in Quebec indy wrestling... that was a good start! Average number of spectators was about 200 for each shows. Misty Haven, Kalamity and Mary Lee Rose had the honor to face MsChif, Melissa and Daffney. Quebec wrestlers' developpment was great. I'm just thinking about Karen Brooks or Anastasia Ivy who became quickly important characters in the show.
If there was one bad thing in the first season... it's for sure the February show... Not the show by itself, which was my favorite so far by the way, but I'm talking about that snow storm that made some wrestlers missing that show... and I a miscommunication with TNA regarding Hamada flight made it worse! After offering a refund to the spectators, which nobody accepted, show started and all the women's gave their best to make it an amazing show.
By the way, if the crazy idea of doing a show before March 1st is coming to my mind, please give me a slap or something...
Regarding the number of spectators, it is clear that we can't afford to do more than 3 shows a year for now. A fourth may be okay, but nothing more. Cost of those shows are really high and I don't think our spectators would follow more than 3 or 4 shows per year. The help of nCw is great though, so we can present some FF matches regularly at their shows.
Futur of Femmes Fatales seems bright. Championship will arrive soon, plus some suprises that you will discover on October 23rd. I am in communication with some of the best wrestlers around the world who wants to come to Femmes Fatales. This is a question of timing!
The association with the Female Fight League will be an important thing for the future. I already can say that we have now a deal with England's Pro Wrestling Eve as their DVD's will be sold at our event and our DVD's will be sold in England.
I would finish this text by saying thanks to everybody who believed in the project of Femmes Fatales. This is only a beginning. We hope to see you on October 23rd as an other quebec wrestler, Anna Minoushka, will have the opportunity to face one of the Icons of women's wrestling, Amazing Kong... and our first champion will be crowned!
Thanks again.
Stephane Bruyere

I totally agree with this. NCW FF has quickly becomen one of the best women's promotion in the world and it's great to see a succesfull all women's promotion in Canada. Surely not everything went as planned for the second show but for sure it was awesome. Hope to see Ayako Hamada appear for FF sooner or later because she'd deliver a lot in a match against LuFisto or Kalamity or Kacey Diamond (this is a dream match of mine)
Bought Volume 3 and I'm already looking forward the 4th show. Hope to see LuFisto getting the belt

Congratulations to both Stephane and LuFisto for their first year of NCW:FF, and here's hoping for many more. You're doing a great job.
Hopefully I can catch up with the shows by buying the DVDs at EVE next month.

The Return of Roxie Cotton in MontrealSome tag team action has just been added to the Femmes Fatales IV card that is taking place on October 23rd 2010. The outgoing hatred between Anastasia Ivy and Mary Lee Rose can not only be witnessed at Femmes Fatales now but also at NCW. A few weeks ago, Ivy brought her team of deranged doctors to face Mary and her own team, Project 13. Rose, Guil Reno and James Kraven were victorious but Anastasia promised that October 23rd would be marked on her calendar as “Revenge Day”. The clever nurse made sure to join forces with somebody who hates Mary Lee Rose since the first event of Femmes Fatales: Philadelphia’s Roxie Cotton. With their much different looks and attitudes, the team of Ivy and Cotton might be quite strange to look at but they do have one thing in common... The strong desire to hurt Mary Lee Rose. On the other side, Mary chose to team up with the little dynamo that was able to get the three-count over Anastasia last June 5th: Karen Brooks! There is no doubt that these two will have the crowd cheering! So, who will win? A Fight that Should Get Attention... Two wrestlers that have an extremely similar style will face each other in a preliminary fight at Femmes Fatales IV when Ontario’s own Xandra Bale will be facing the great Moonlight. It’s the second time Xandra Bale will be in Montreal on October 23rd as she won the hearts of many fans with her high flying manoeuvres at the last show. Winner of a tag fight with Karen Brooks, this time she will be looking to get her first victory in singles action. When it comes to Moonlight, she impressed a lot of fans as well last June and hopes to demonstrate once again her talent on October 23rd. She is now looking for a second victory at Femmes Fatales. We can expect a lot of action from those two athletes. Since they seem to be quite equal and it comes to strength and agility, a little mistake from one fighter could mean victory to the other.

Mistress Belmont vs She Nay Nay should be hilarious. Don't know who I like more. All I can say is that since her debut for FF I really love Mrs. Belmont

TWO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS GO AT IT ON OCTOBER 23RD!Another match has been confirmed for Femmes Fatales IV taking place on October 23rd as two of the most colourful characters will be facing each other in a match that should be quite entertaining: Cocky and overconfident She Nay Nay Vs the bizarre Mistress Belmont. Missing the last NCW-FF back in June, She Nay Nay is back in Montreal! So far, she lost one match versus Addy Starr at the first ever FF event and won against Karen Brooks last February. She Nay Nay is looking for second consecutive win against Belmont to show that she can be dominant in singles competition at Femmes Fatales. Her opponent, Mistress Belmont, has no victory so far in Montreal but quickly became one of the most popular wrestler in the promotion. We say that third time is a charm… Will this be the time for Belmont to shine? And will Bakais be the referee in charge once again? We can expect She Nay Nay to use her vocal cords to distract her opponent … But can a woman like Mistress Belmont be distracted at all? The answer on October 23rd! THE TITANS DESTROY FEMMES FATALESOn September 25th 2010, NCW presented Mesures de Guerre where the Titans, Chakal and Bishop, had their revenge match against the team of Sweet Cherrie and LuFisto... And it wasn’t easy for the representant of Femmes Fatales. After a surprising victory a month ago, Sweet Cherrie and LuFisto noticed that they were not done with the now very angry Titans. They had a pretty good start against Chakal and Bishop on Saturday but were quickly stopped as both men destroyed everything on their path. First, they crushed what was left of Cherrie’s injured knee before smashing LuFisto’s head many times until she bled profusely. As Chakal placed a chair in front of LuFisto’s head so Bishop can, once again, deliver is coast-to-coast dropkick, Stephane Bruyere came out of the locker room with fellow Femmes Fatales Karen Brooks, Mary Lee Rose and Angie Skye to throw in the towel to end the carnage. No one knows what will happen to our Femmes Fatales now. VIP TICKETS, BUYING AND QUESTIONS...There are only a few VIP tickets so be quick and get them as soon as possible so you can mett with Amazing Kong, Cheerleader Melissa, LuFisto, Sassy Stephie, Cat Power, PJ Tyler, Portia Perez, Kalamity, Mary Lee Rose, Anastasia Ivy and more!.... It’s only $30 for the VIP tickets. You can buy them at NCW on October 9th or by PayPal for $34 all fees included by sending your payment to this address: payment@ncw.qc.caFor any other comments of questions, please e-mail us here: ncwfemmesfatales@hotmail.frDon’t miss this even where the first ever NCW Femmes Fatales Champion will be crowned!
