TL;DR: All wrestling fans are pervs. Including you.

I'm half japanese a fan of joshi puroresu, and have family whom are japanese and wrestle in some of the japanese promotions over there. <I also lived in japan > My japanese is not too hot since I still sound American. I disagree with alot of comments made about joshi. Lot of the fans are females. And I been to live wrestling shows in Japan. Sadly like all types of wrestling you got your share of pervs which can be said worldwide. Alot of fans give thier favorite wrestlers gifts, like they do over here. Its like a gift to a friend, idol, or a sign of respect. But all in all I like Shimmer since Shimmer seems to have wrestlers from everywhere and different styles. Anywho all this is still from a fans perspective since the closest thing I got close to in the biz was learning how to take some bumps and handing out towels, water and **** like that. From a wrestlers viewpoint I don't know what they think on that, just opinions

In more important news I wonder whom Madison Eagles will have her first Shimmer title defense too?
Lot of good matches in sept! ;D

I don't mind the thinking they're attractive and stuff...but it's just like...at a certain point it becomes too much. I mean...as much as a nude photobook of Danielson, Claudio, Jigsaw, and Quack would rock...not even 50% of me would rather have that than their AWESOME tag match from Chikara last year. ... tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/BrainBleach

The eight wrestlers pictured are a good start. I'm happy Ayumi is coming back. I anxiously await the rest of the wrestlers names or photos to be unveiled.

Hey now don't just get on guys for this. From what I've heard, Dragon Gate audiences are mostly pervy housewives. Also, Hiroshi Tanahashi fans. He's REALLY REALLY REALLY hot. It's not even solely the way he looks, it's pure charisma. Edit: There's different levels of pervy fans. Most of it isn't even pervy. But I do think there's a little bit of a difference between fangirls (fangirls represent the ill affects of repression, lol) and the "they should all be strippers(look a certain way) to be worthy." attitude a lot of pervy male fans have when it comes to women. And the bathing suit thing. When most non-wrestling fans hear "womens' wrestling" most of them automatically think of fetish stuff. Especially if they hear "Japanese" in front of it.

It's not really crazy hair, it's more jus the style that's in. Look at Takako, Kana(last Summer at least), Manami, ect. They all have that skunk hair going on. I've even seen a few member of Morning Musume sporting it.
It was really hilarious that This Year's Tokyo Dome Show was basically Go Shiozaki vs Tanahashi in a MAYBE WE CAN GET LONELY HOUSEWIVES AND GAYDUDES TO WATCH THIS **** match. Even the build up vid was so lol with bits of Shiozaki sweating and training and talking, and Tanahashi talking and modeling.
BTW, Tanahashi has a nude photospread coming out soon. And like I said I don't mind if you're a bit pervy(lawd knows I am) or think they're hot or seek out this stuff...it's when half your conversation is dominated about how hot their azz looks in dem jeans is when I'm like REALLY?..REALLY?!
And yeah I'd definitely love to see Kana wrestle for Shimmer. I'd say she's a bit better than Ohata and HIroyo but not quite as good as Nakagawa or Kurihara. That's just my personal opinion anyway.

^^If I had to rank, that's how I'd put it. I'd put Hiroyo above Nakagawa and Kana inbetween them. I just got into Kana, too. Then you come in and confuse everybody. Alex Shelley had skunk hair back in 05. I think I liked his the best because it's wasn't as brassy and it was that crown whirl thing(slanted mohawk). Jason Miller has one in red and it's lame. I think Miz had a version of it. Tanahashi's is a little brassy. The bleach in the front and black in the back was really popular in the early 90s too (because of Rebecca, I guess). Every 10 years fads repeat. This one never went away. I see Cholas with it, too.[/extremely off topic] Rebecca: www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekFC-O7h7qQ (warning contains most of the 80s)

All this talk about crazy hair and now I've had a picture of Darren Young's hair in my head all day. To quote a friend of mine "He looks like a lit candle"

He looks like John Cena thought that wearing blackface was still acceptable.
