There'll be bees but not of the Killer variety. I'm expecting bees of the Danger variety to challenge for the belts. It all comes together! Jennifer Blake was pretty gangsta at the last tapings and asked for suggestions for a new, hood appropriate theme song. My submission was this tune. Triumph by the Wu-Tang Clan. Is it clicking for you yet? Well here's the video and, oh my, what's the subtitle of the song? Oh man, this is some next dimensional booking right here. If The RZA was at Shimmer I'd go mental. Then in three volumes he can do a heel turn on The GZA.

So that's where most of the video game intro is from. Damn Activision!

;D That graphic looks awesome. I really like it. Reminds me of the No Doubt tour logo from last summer. Dangerous Bees-ness! Chances of being there are astronomical for me that weekend. The fair comes to town starting that weekend and for the week, the population explodes from 10K people to 300K. Which baffles me because the fair sucks. I'm still going to see about getting that weekend off, most likely going to be laughed at in the process.

Put in for my time off to be there for it...traveling from the REAL frozen tundra of North Dakota to *finger crossed* FINALLY get to gaze upon THE Kurihara with my own earthly eyes.
I don't care if I got to full-on quit my job, rob a liquor store, and shank my momma...I'm going to be there!

Sure living in Chicago means having corrupt government, terrible weather, potholes that can swallow a car whole, a sales tax of about 80% or so, and two historically bad baseball teams.
But it also means that there's never a problem with getting to Berwyn for SHIMMER weekends.
I'll take it.

Although the White Sox did have one great and a couple good seasons at least relatively recently, hehe.

And you don't just have to live in Chicago for bad potholes. I tell you breaking another axel is totally awesome...NOT! Then for no reason the rubber of my tire fell off the rim this afternoon when I tried backing my car up. No idea how. Plus I'll take your location over my 500 mile drive.

The roads where I live (north Alabama) are getting to where they're as bad as Chicago roads.
Yes, roads in Alabama are paved... poorly, for the most part.

Not sure if this will help, but one option is to fly into Milwaukee (MKE), and take Amtrak down to Chicago Union Station. It's $22 one way. It may not help out, but if there's a significant amount of savings in Milwaukee over the two Chicago hubs, then it's at least a consideration.
But after checking with Bing Travel, i'm guessing that's not gonna work for international flights.
