Kellie Skater - She is money. She's like the Aussie version of Jetta or Lacey. Oh come on now. The reactions that the Rate Tank has produced on here suggest that she *is* something special, but nothing on Vol 23 convinced me of that. She came out, she cut a short mouthy promo, she got killed. Fine, but Jetta/Lacey level?! Wesna v Cheerleader Melissa - Now, don't jump down my throat. It was a great match, but considering I've seen 4 out of the now 7 Wesna/Melissa matches in person, this one didn't live up to my expectations. In fact, at the start it felt a bit plodding. I'm glad it went into high gear by the end though. I think it's like I mentioned above. Because it's the first time in front of a new audience/promotion/continent, they didn't go "all out" immediately - it grew and built from the beginning on... whereas I think if they were wrestling in England again, they'd probably start the match by firing shotguns at each other...

Being that I've seen all the matches they've had in England. I'd have to agree. They are wrestling infront of a different audience here in the U.S. And also remember that they have another match on volume 26. Now in that match, they go all out at the get go.

Fine, but Jetta/Lacey level?! Oh, I didn't mean to make out that she was on their level, just that she was the same irritant traits. Appreciated. I guess I just have such lofty standards for these two. If you've not seen any of their previous matches, I'm sure the match would be classified as great. But nothing short of nunchuku and/or petrol bombs is now considered mildly disappointing in my eyes. I blame them for making me more tolerant to their particular brand of ridiculous violence. *** By the way, any idiotic statements that I make this week can be excused because I have swine flu - thusly I'm quarantined and I'm going batsh*t stir crazy already.

Skater initially reminded me of Cindy Rogers. And that's never a good thing.

Right. I'll probably piss people off with this but fuggit. With the exception of the main event, Melissa vs. Wesna and the Danger-Perez confrontation, I found 23 to be really disappointing and the weakest volume in ages. It honestly breaks my heart to say so but for most of it I was actually bored. Hopefully I'll enjoy 24-26 more.

Medical attention is all I can really recommend to anyone who is actually bored with Madison/Sara, Daizee/Nicole, or Kong/Martinez. dp

Incidentally Dave, I've found I'm hating LOTS of great wrestling lately so I wouldn't take it too personally...

Incidentally Dave, I've found I'm hating LOTS of great wrestling lately so I wouldn't take it too personally... Have you recently (within the last year and a half) given birth? It could be post pardem depression. I had gotten into a real bad funk recently and I could not take interest in anything I once had interest in. Or it could be that Shimmer has spoiled you and turned watching the best wrestling anywhere into a tedious routine. Watch a marathon of stinkers and you'll be right as Rain. And she's pretty good.

The Rodman/Macho streetfight (was that Road Wild?) will have you all cleaned out and gutted in no time.

I always had something of a soft spot for the annual Sturgis catastrophe if I'm honest... I'll have a go anyway. Something has to be done to fix this horrid state of affairs.

The Smoke and "Ice Cold" Billy Austin.

Skater initially reminded me of Cindy Rogers. And that's never a good thing. That is EXACTLY what I was thinking and going to post. Cindy Rogers = decent talent but blah on charisma. Skater = blah on talent decent charisma. Both = no build whatsoever. On a side note "Twatwaffle" seriously has to become the new buzz word in the world.
