4 shows and 2 after-parties, what an awesome weekend that will be. That will be sweet. So I will probably have book at least 3 nights at the Rodeway Inn. That is quite alright by me. To watch womens matches all weekend is bigger than a Superbowl party, I don't care what other people think.

Yeah, it's relatively early. Yeah, I know, DP will tell us when he's ready.
That said, anyone tentatively booked yet?

Good question. I would think there would be somthing. It might just be the AAW guys again. After the ring issues the AAW had this past saturday it is clear that is the reason of pre show matches. i think dave and allison will bring in sparkle girls again i hope cheery bomb will be back for another sparkle I hope so too. I would love to see Cherry Bomb on the show so that I buy those dvd, so I watch her over, over, and over again.

I don't really understand the earlier post where someone was worried that Shimmer was going to produce less product this year based what Dave is doing with the first weekend in May and 4 shows. How do you figure? Last year from April thru October we had 3 tapings for 6 events. Right off the bat we're starting the year off with 2 tapings and 4 events. Even if something catastrophic occurs Dave should be able to do at least 1 more taping and if it's the standard 2 events, we've equalled last year's output. If it's 2 tapings, we've gone from 6 to 8 events. Of course in a perfect world, there will still be 3 dates in Berwyn for 6 tapings equalling 12 events doubling last year's total! Anyway, I remain optimistic..
Another great thing about this is with 4 events, you can start a storyline, arc it and blow it off all in one weekend which all but eliminates the risk of starting a storyline only to have one or even both parties leave the fed, get hurt, get signed elsewhere, etc.
For example, this is what I would do (yes, Fantasy Booking 101 rears it's ugly head once again). Show 1 - Melissa vs. Jetta, Deeb vs Sara, Stock vs Chif in the main event. Melissa wins. Jetta promises revenge. Deeb loses when Sara cheats. Chif on the verge of beating Stock when Del Rey interferes and attacks. Instead of helping Chif, Stock joins in to brutalize Chif. End of Show with Dark Angel & Death Rey embracing and looking all evil. Show 2 - Arc builds as the newly christened "Fallen Angels" beat up a mid-level tag team. They continue beating on them until Chif & Deeb emerge from the locker room. Challenge made for Show 3. Melissa vs Rain. Melissa wins despite Jetta's attempts at interference. The IHWC, now incensed, say Melissa has sealed her death warrant. Show 3 - Chif jumped before show in promo and *injured*. Deeb & Cheerleader Melissa to take on Fallen Angels. Jetta & Rain jump in ring during ref bump to attack Melissa. Melissa fights them off until Lacey makes a surprising return laying out Melissa with a foreign object. Ref recovers, Del Rey pins Melissa. Show 4 - The big blow off to everything. Melissa vs. Lacey with the IHWC banned from ringside. Jetta & Rain vs. Jumping Blonde Angels for tag belts. Main event - Fallen Angels vs Chif & Deeb in a Street fight with no rules. IHWC win tag titles when Rain gives the Japanese Ocean Cyclone Suplex to Ashley Lane for the pin. Lacey is beaten savagely by Melissa in their grudge match. Lacey begs for help but no one comes as they are banned. After the match is over and Melissa leaves, Rain & Jetta hit the ring, help Lacey up and DESTROY her. Telling her they are tired of her always losing and taking vacations. The IHWC leave the ring with incredible heat. Main event time. Now, with no rules and no ref bumps to get in the way, Chif & Deeb get revenge by beating The Fallen Angels. Since it's the end of the angle and Sarah Stock would get in the way of Death Rey challenging for the belts maybe have Sara turn on her at the end.

Man, so much for 'there'll be plenty of front row tickets available after the first night' Expect the unexpected, Dave. It's this kind of thing that makes me always rush to get tickets, even though general admission hasn't ever sold out before I was able to purchase them. Well, I better rush again!

Wow, can't believe front row tix sold out that fast...I was still thinking about whether to buy them. But I just placed my order for general admission, so I'll be there. Not even college will stop me from seeing this.
BTW, does anyone know how they assign general admission seating? Is it just all random, or is it first come first serve based on who ordered their tickets the earliest? ^^
