My name's John (obviously) and I've been a fan since 1991, I'm 38 years old. I discovered SHIMMER in a Moviestop store with the first volume. It had what I like the most about wrestling, the, well, wrestling and these women can go just as good as the men. I prefer ROH and promotions like Pro Wrestling Geurilla to the so called Big Two, because all they are these days are promos for the pay per veiws and to be frank, most of the talent are talentless.

That's what they're supposed to be, for the most part.
All respect to your opinion, but that's hardly true. Check out Chris Jericho v Rey Mysterio's series over the last couple of months, which has been utterly epic. And I'm not even a Mysterio fan.

Hello everyone. My name's Thomas Kennedy, though some Aussie indy wrestlers/fans call me by a ring name I made up for myself that I'd use if I ever get into wrestling, Aaron Fyrehart. lol.
I'm 18, Australian and I've only been a wrestling fan since around 2002 or 2003. I participated in two "Dreamcamps" (4 day training sessions with a match on the last day) in 2006 for a Sydney based promotion called the AWF and I do hope to be a wrestler, or at the very least a manager (or both if possible), some day.
The first wrestling show I ever attended was for an Aussie fed called PWA Queensland's September show back in 2007 which saw their first women's match pitting Madison Eagles against another Aussie female wrestler called Sway.
I've only met 2 American wrestlers (Trik Davis & Chris Hero) and have seen 3 in action (Trik, Hero and Sara Del Rey). I can't remember exactly how I found out about SHIMMER, but I'm pretty sure it was through ROH or a friend that follows American indy wrestling a hell of a lot more than me telling me about it.
Lastly my respect for women's wrestling has grown larger and larger every year since first getting into watching more indy stuff and since TNA started their Knockout's division, with WWE's "Diva's" division being quite poor atm IMO, with the exception of several women who I will never consider to be "Divas".
I would say more but I'd probably go on for ages. lol.

Hey, I'm Slayer from Ireland.
I've been a wrestling fan for over 20 years and I've been wrestling for 4 years, training alongside new ECW star Sheamus in Irish Whip Wrestling. Portia, Daizee & Eden also did shots for IWW while I was there but sadly I never had the pleasure of meeting them.
I've been a fan of Shimmer for 2 years since I bought vol 1 on a whim.
I'm a fan of the work of MsChif, Lacey, Canadian Ninjas & Cat Power.
Good to be here.

Hey, I'm Randa, I'm 16 and have been training for almost a year in New Zealand. My style is pretty loose. I heard about SHIMMER on wikipedia and watched some of the matches on YouTube. Daizee Haze is my favourite wrestler for shimmer... definitely wanna train at the school in a couple years!
