Hey there. I'm Silversoul. I'm from Philly, and I've been a fan of wrestling since age 3 or 4. I am use to watching WWE, but sometimes I've checked out TNA. I came across Shimmer Wrestling through youtube recently, but I immediately got into the power, big personalities, and skills that these women have. Sara Del Rey, Daizee Haze, Amazing Kong, Saraya Knight, and Athena to name a few who are quickly becoming my favorites.

Hi everybody, new Shimmer fan here. I just got into watching Shimmer. I have seen volumes 37-50. Fantastic wrestling I have been watching pro wrestling since the 1980's so I'm not a newbie to this stuff. Favorite Shimmer Wrestlers - Canadian Ninjas, Death Rey, Lufisto, Kana, Courtney Rush and Kellie Skater Favorite Shimmer Match - Kana vs. Hamada, Queens of Winning title victory, and Knight vs. Knight. I know all three matches are easy picks. Best Face - Cheerleader Melissa and Athena Best Heel - Saraya of course, but Portia is a close second Most Charismatic - Courtney Rush and Kellie Skater I feel sorry for the booker on the Berwyn shows, all this talent must be really hard to make everyone happy.

My name is Jeff. I've been a wrestling fan since I was little, but got away from for a while. I've just got back into it recently. Have always been a fan of women's wrestling. My favorite Shimmer athletes are Allysin Kay, Madison Eagles and Kellie Skater. Was hoping to get to the Shimmer tapings in October, but looks like it will be next Spring.

Hey the name is Lopez. Been a huge fan of wrestling all my life started going to AAW and Shimmer over a year now and I have to say there is nothing like seeing top talent compete at such a intense level. Just started designing ring gear and tee designs since April 2013 as well as run a couple websites one entitled Indy Wrestling Nation and ThatGuyLopez. I'm hoping I can stay active on this forum...but as always look forward to any info I see here.

Hey everyone. Actually signed up here a little while ago but I'm loooking to become more active and I never really introduced myself. Got interested in the Women's Indy Circuit when WWE's just wasn't cutting it anymore. Always made sure I've been up to date ever since. I make a lot of Caws in WWE games based on Indy women wrestlers and I really enjoy it. Some of my favs (shimmer or not) are Athena, Mia Yim, SDR, Kana, Allysin Kay, Cheerleader Melissa,Rachel Summerlyn, The Canadian Ninjas,Mschif, Hailey Hatred, & Nikki Storm.

Hey, all, my name is Jay, I discovered Shimmer indirectly through the lovely War Rocket Ajax podcast which is mostly about comics, hip-hop, barbecue and pro wrestling. And while I love comics and barbecue and a little hip-hop, which they taught me to love more, I still couldn't get into wrestling, because while what I saw of WWF/E growing up seemed interesting but the Attitude Era really wasn't something my parents were going to let me watch and I wasn't interested enough to defy them as I did other stuff. WRA recommends stuff every week, and one of the recs one week was the PWG Sells Out DVD set, and I decided to buckle down and try it, and after watching it off Netflix I thought "I like these guys Punk and Danielson and Super Dragon and Samoa Joe are pretty good too, but I'd like to see at least one women's match, I am a feminist after all and stuff." So I looked and saw what Netflix recommended and lo and behold I found Shimmer 1-6 the Big Vision versions there and I dove in and I loved every second, with the one exception of Cindy Rogers who despite her obvious skill and even reasonably good looks I found pretty boring. It was really at that point that I realized that I not only loved women's wrestling alongside mens stuff but I like it way better. When I could afford it I amassed my own Shimmer collection as well as the 10 DVD IWA Mid-South Women's Division collection, but that was around the time of the release of Volume 48 and since I've been unemployed and unable to get more. Every time I've gotten the itch to watch all the way through I'd always get distracted by something and decide to start over when I returned inevitably I'd decide to start over, but this time I hope I can really do it and watch through all I have, I have the next few days free and then some travel to see my cousins wedding, and am hoping to finally finish the volumes I have this time. As you might gather from my handle, I love the Homewrecking Crew, especially Rain, which might surprise you if you didn't read my sig. Despite my love of South Minneapolis where I went to college, and its crazy mix of gorgeous old houses, crazy artists and neighborhoods that are run-down and terrifying, and is the place where I discovered Shimmer and the place closest to my heart even if circumstances have forced me to abandon it for the moment. I like Rain best because she is the best and despite being retired now she had an incredibly long career. Obviously I am a huge mark for heels and Lacey and Jetta are pretty high up there, Cheerleader Melissa, MsChif, and SDR whichever side they land on on a given day, Saraya Knight, Amber O'Neal, Fyfe, Hosaka and all the other old school heels, Knox, Daffney despite her short Shimmer career, Kong, and Lufisto and that's barely scratching the surface. I'm a super hard sell for faces I haven't grown to love as a heel already, but Summerlyn, Toyota, Danger, Haze, and Ariel have all won my heart eventually, maybe I'll let you guys know who else I've gotten into after this watchthrough. I don't know if I'll ever make it to Berwyn, but if I do I can't wait to meet everyone. Sorry for being so verbose.

Hi everyone! I'm Chuck from Cincinnati. I've been a WWE fan for 16 years. I frequent reddits biggest wrestling subreddit(board), /r/squaredcircle. After WWEs on again off again pushes of women's wrestling over the years, I decided to see if there was a quality promotion for women wrestlers. Some fellow redditors suggested I check out Shimmer (some of them seriously suggested GLOW and NWWL). I don't even remember what the first match was (it may not even have been a Shimmer match, just featured two Shimmer frequents), except that Athena was in it, and Athena won. Much like when I saw my first wrestling match at age 13 and instantly became a Chris Jericho fan (Chris Jericho vs. Rey Mysterio Jr., Souled Out 1998), I immediately found a favorite in Athena. I haven't had much opportunity to see a lot of Shimmer content because I'm broke, but I did buy the last iPPV and would love to go to a show (come to Cincinnati, please!) I look forward to learning more about this promotion and it wrestlers.
