Midway is only six miles away from the Eagle's Club. A quick look at American Taxi shows a round trip for about $50.
Maybe someone can give you a ride.

There might be other taxi companies, but this is the first that jumps to my mind. Looks like $31 one way.

Meter and a half. The taxi's will try to screw with you in town. Stand up for yourself if they try to rob you. That happened to us after a WhiteSox game back to our hotel.

This is from a first time Chicago-visitor at the last Shimmer show, who was intimidated by the whole process of finding my way around -
You don't even have to leave O'Hare - ask someone to direct you to the Blue Line El train, which runs in the underground level of O'Hare - you could take that any number of places, maybe pick up a connection on the Metra train (which might mean you wouldn't need a cab at all), but what I did was rode the Blue Line El to the very last stop (Forest Park!) and that cost two dollars - mind you, it took almost an hour. Then at the Forest Park stop there are always cabs milling around - I took one of those straight out to the Rodeway, and it cost me under $20, so from O'Hare to the Rodeway transportation shouldn't cost you more than $20. It cost less than $10 to get to the Eagles Cub from the Rodeway and the drive only takes a few minutes.
Also:
Name: Jamie
Flying in from: Charlottetown, P.E.I., Canada to O'Hare
Flying out of: O'Hare to Charlottetown, P.E.I., Canada
Staying at: The Rodeway
Transportation: Taking the Blue Line El and a few cabs - maybe if someone else at the Rodeway volunteers, I'll catch a lift with them to the club.
Duration of stay: several days
Plans: Catch Shimmer, the after-party, and anything else that floats my boat

This thread exists so that not everyone from out of town has to rent a car.
